What is an anti-inflammatory diet? And what are the long term impacts on your health?
Wellness Chiropractors like me care a lot about what our patients eat. It has such an impact on your health and wellbeing and even on the results you can achieve with chiropractic care.
This month we are going to discuss the how and why of this type of diet and as usual I’m going to attempt to bribe you by asking a question each week and have a draw prize at the end of the month!
First, the why?
An anti-inflammatory diet is linked to deceased cancer, heart disease and even dementia! When I can tweak the diets of patients and practice members (wellness patients) we also see a marked improvement of symptoms and mobility almost immediately! The effect is quick because the next day after having less pro-inflammatory and more anti inflammatory foods will decrease joint swelling. The real key is keeping that inflammation down for long term benefits.
